Keisuke Honda has signed with Liga MX side Pachuca, the club announced Friday.
The 31-year-old was a free agent after his contract with AC Milan expired in June. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Honda had been linked with multiple leagues as his departure neared, including rumors of interest from teams in Major League Soccer as he trained in the United States.
However, while Honda has made the move to North America, it will be with the current CONCACAF Champions League title holders Pachuca, rather than a side in the U.
