Pachuca held goalless by Chivas and former goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota

Chivas goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota produced a man of the match performance to deny Pachuca a winner as the Rebaño Sagrado nudged a step closer to a place in the Liguilla.

Both sides had almost identical possession stats, but it was the Tuzos who used their share to better effect, with Hirving Lozano forcing Cota to his first real save of the game in the sixth minute.

Chivas’ best chance of the game didn’t come until the second half. when Oscar “Conejo” Perez had to pluck Nestor Calderon’s goalbound shot in the 46th minute.

Referee Jorge Antonio Perez Duran, produced a red card for Michael Perez’s tackle on Erick Aguirre, leaving Chivas down to 10 men with less than 15 minutes to go.
