Ernesto Valverde was full of praise for Ousmane Dembele after Barcelona’s 2-0 win over Villarreal at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
The France international put in a strong performance for the hosts and set up Gerard Pique for the opener on 36 minutes.
Dembele now has three assists and two goals in his last six Barcelona outings, and Valverde says he hopes he can maintain his current form.
“Dembele produced a great performance,” he said.
”He was one of the players that stood out. He has so many things to his game: pace, he can dribble, beat players, self-confidence, he takes risks.
