Ousmane Dembele looks set to miss the Clasico after being hit with a two-match ban for his red card against Sevilla.
The Frenchman was given his marching orders for calling referee Mateu Lahoz “very bad” after he sent off Ronald Araujo and has now been sanctioned by the RFEF.
The decision means that Dembele will be forced to miss Barcelona’s next two league matches against Eibar at Ipurua on October 19 and Real Madrid at the Camp Nou on Saturday 26.
Barcelona are expected to appeal the decision, although it remains to be seen if they will be able to get the ban reduced.
