Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 victory over Ostersunds in their Europa League round-of-32 first-leg match on Thursday night.

Strikes from Nacho Monreal, Mesut Ozil and an Ostersunds own goal ensured Arsene Wenger's side will take a comfortable advantage back to the Emirates for the return match next Thursday.

With Alexandre Lacazette out because of a knee injury and new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cup-tied, Wenger handed Danny Welbeck a starting spot up front.

And Arsenal were off an running after just 16 minutes, but it was through defender Monreal, who pounced on a spilled save attempt by Ostersunds goalkeeper Aly Keita and slotted into the gaping net from close range.
