Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar is currently plying his trade in the Chinese Super League and recently sparked a brawl on the pitch. Players and staff from his Shanghai SIPG side and opponents Guangzhou R&F engaged in a scuffle on the pitch after the Brazilian international appeared to fire the ball deliberately twice at Guangzhou players.
Eventually, one player from each side was sent off.
With Andre Villas-Boas’s SIPG attempting to keep the pressure on league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande, the fight erupted right before half-time.
Oscar, whose 60 million euros price tag raised more than just a few eyebrows in the last transfer window hasn’t been in the news since.
