Celta Vigo manager Claudio Giraldez spoke to the press on Thursday to preview his team’s trip to Montjuïc for a big La Liga clash against leaders Barcelona on Saturday, and the 37-year-old was full of praise for his opposition and their coach.
Giraldez says Barça are among the very top of the elite teams in the world this season, and praised Hansi Flick’s ability to establish his identity with the Blaugrana and the commitment from the players to adapt to Flick’s system.
The boss still thinks his team has a chance to steal points from the leaders, however, just as they did when the sides first met this season in a wild encounter that ended in a 2-2 draw with two late goals for Celta.
