OFFICIAL: Four Barcelona players named in Spain national team squad

The Spanish national team might have a new manager, but Barcelona players are still very important.

Julen Lopetegui, who replaces Vicente Del Bosque, made his first national team selection on Friday, calling up 24 players for the next two international matches, starting with a friendly against Belgium on September 1st, followed by the opening game of the 2018 World Cup Qualifier against Liechtesntein (Sept. 6).

Lopetegui's first squad still brings most of the players who were in EURO 2016 for La Roja, but begins a quiet, yet visible renovation of the national side:

Four Barça players are in: Gerard Piqué, Sergi Roberto, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
