Lamine Yamal’s agent Jorge Mendes says the teenager will renew his contract at Barcelona when asked about the teenager’s future.
The youngster’s current deal runs out in 2026, although it is thought he already has a long-term agreement in place with the club.
Mendes was asked about the situation at the Golden Boy gala in Turin on Monday and offered up the following response.
“Of course he will renew with Barça, Lamine is a Barça player and he will renew the new contract,” he told reporters.
Mendes also tipped Yamal to “recover quickly” from his current ankle injury after being ruled out for several weeks by Barcelona.
