Former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Sam Nyamweya has welcomed the decision by President Uhuru Kenyatta to support struggling Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clubs financially.
While handing over the new team bus to AFC Leopards, Kenyatta stated the government will start to focus on helping the local clubs after they are done with the national teams.
The government draws money to sponsor the national teams from the Sports Fund and the president believes it is enough to cater even for the clubs.
