Nottingham Forest have confirmed that their former player Roy Keane has joined the club as assistant manager to new boss Martin O'Neill.
The fiery Irishman starred for Forest in the early stages of his footballing career, before signing for Manchester United in 1993.
Following a glittering career with the Red Devils, which saw him become an integral part of the midfielder during Sir Alex Ferguson's multi-trophy winning tenure, Keane went on to manage Ipswich Town and Sunderland.
Announcing the news of their official Twitter page, Forest revealed the much anticipated confirmation of Keane's arrival, where he will link up with O'Neill again following the pair's stint at the helm of the Republic of Ireland men's national team.
