Norwich City moved closer to a Premier League return after a 4-2 aggregate win over Ipswich Town in the Championship playoff semifinal.
Norwich City will meet Middlesbrough in the Championship playoff final after beating rival Ipswich Town 3-1 at Carrow Road, and 4-2 on aggregate.
Second-half strikes from Wes Hoolahan, Nathan Redmond and Cameron Jerome moved Norwich closer to an immediate return to the Premier League, and continued a sensational run under Alex Neil.
Ipswich – for whom Christophe Berra was sent off in the second half – was given a glimmer of hope when Tommy Smith canceled out Hoolahan's opener, but Mick McCarthy's side will face another season in the second tier.
