No surprises as Mexico unveils squad for October World Cup qualifiers

Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio has released his list of players for the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying matches on October 6 against Trinidad and Tobago and October 10 against Honduras, the Mexican federation made the announcement on Thursday.

There were no surprises in the squad, despite rumors that Juan Carlos Osorio would call several uncapped players for this match. The only noticeable return is that of Miguel Layun, who was absent from the last call-up due to personal reasons.

Mexico have already wrapped up an automatic qualification to the 2018 World Cup and can clinch first place of the Hexagonal with four points from their next two matches.
