PHILADELPHIA — This time there would be no controversial calls. There would be no angry confrontations between players. There would be no projectiles thrown from the stands.
On Sunday night, nobody was CONCACAF’d. Instead, Jamaica was just run over.
Perhaps the only surprise during Mexico’s 3-1 win against the Reggae Boyz in the Gold Cup final was that there really were no surprises. The better team won. The lesser team was outplayed.
