Nico Williams posts cryptic message amid frenzied Barcelona transfer talk

Nico Williams has sent out a message on social media amid increasingly frenzied speculation he’s set to join Barcelona this summer.

The Athletic Club forward is currently enjoying a break after helping Spain win Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.

While on holiday, Williams has posted a message of a sunset, some waves and the caption “Calm down.”

It’s obviously open to interpretation but you get the feeling it’s more than likely in response to the huge speculation about his future.

Barcelona are said to be confident they can land Williams and want to activate the release clause in his contract just as soon as they can.
