Neymar gives glimpse of bright future in Messi and Suarez absence

The Brazilian forward scored Barcelona's second goal at San Mames and was on the receiving end of some rough treatment from the Basque defenders in the Copa clash.

With Lionel Messi rested and Luis Suarez suspended, Barcelona began Wednesday's Copa del Rey quarterfinal first leg against Athletic Bilbao with Neymar as its main man. And the Brazilian didn't disappoint.

Playing without either of his illustrious fellow forwards for the first time since Suarez signed from Liverpool in the summer of 2014, Neymar gave Barca fans a glimpse of the future.
