Lionel Messi has given a new interview to Mundo Deportivo where he’s talked about his former club and had a pretty strong message for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are currently top of the table in Spain and hoping to bring in some silverware after a trophyless campaign last time out.
Messi says he wants to see Barca back at the top of the game and has urged the players not to accept being second-best.
“I hope that the club can return to what it always was. As well as being a world reference, which it never stopped being, always fighting to win titles until the end of each season,” he said.
