The Netherlands welcome France for an international friendly on Friday at the Amsterdam Arena—but the focus for the hosts will be on celebrating the life of a legend.
Johan Cruyff—who scored 33 goals in 48 games for the Dutch national team—died on Thursday at the age of 68.
According to BBC Sport, the game in Amsterdam will be stopped after 14 minutes—to match the shirt number Cruyff made famous during his playing career—for a minute's silence to remember the man who led his homeland to the 1974 World Cup final.
As for France, the outing gives them a further chance to continue their preparations ahead of hosting Euro 2016 in the summer.
