The former Sligo Rovers and Shamrock Rovers midfielder will work under the Italian in Florida after completing a move from Jacksonville Armada
Miami FC head coach Alessandro Nesta says that he is "excited" by new signing Richie Ryan.
Ryan, who hails from Tipperary, joined the North American Soccer League (NASL) club Miami from Jacksonville Armada, where he had been captain, and former AC Milan stalwart Nesta explained that the midfielder will improve the squad.
"We are very excited to add a player like Ryan to our roster," the ex-Italy international told the club website.
"He’s been very successful in the NASL and we are looking forward to him improving our squad.
