Barcelona winger Malcom left the pitch in tears after suffering a sprained ankle in his side’s 4-1 Copa del Rey over Cultural Leonesa.
The 21-year-old had scored for the Catalan giants to open up a three goal lead and put the tie beyond any doubt, but was unable to complete the full 90 minutes.
It is understood that he will undergo medical tests tomorrow to establish the extent of his injury.
