Former Arsenal and Manchester City right back Bacary Sagna has joined Major League Soccer's Montreal Impact for the rest of the season, with an option for the 2019 campaign.
The 35-year-old made a name for himself in the Premier League as a stalwart for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal side for seven years before moving on to Manchester City.
Sagna also earned 65 caps for the French national side, playing in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
“I'm very happy of Bacary's arrival,” said Impact head coach Remi Garde in a team release.
“He's a player with a great career who's still very motivated to come and help the Impact defy its end of season challenge.
