The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has finally revealed the future roadmap for Indian football and it is not surprising that the two biggest clubs of the country, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal are all set to join the Indian Super League (ISL) from the 2020-21 season. As per the plan shared by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), two clubs from the eastern region of India would get a chance to be a part of the ISL based on the legacy.
Goal had earlier revealed that both the entities have held several meetings with top officials of Football and Sports Development Limited (FSDL) in the past couple of months and all the parties arrived at a consensus.
