MLS Review: Sounders roll over Galaxy, Portland falls

Don't look now, but here come the Seattle Sounders.

After their slow start to the season the Sounders are now firmly back in position to fight for the playoffs following their sixth win in a row and their seventh win in eight with a 5-0 result against the LA Galaxy, who were playing without all three of their designated players and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Chad Marshall opened the scoring with a powerful header just three minutes in, with Harry Shipp adding a second in the 18th minute.

The second half would prove even worse for the Galaxy, with Servando Carrasco's own goal putting the Sounders up three goals in the 50th before Cristian Roldan made it 4-0 just before the hour mark.
