MLS Players Union condemns Trump executive order

Union executive director Bob Foose expressed concern and disappointment in a statement released on Monday.

The Major League Soccer Players Union has issued a statement expressing its disappointment in Donald Trump's executive order issued on Friday.

Trump's controversial executive order bans citizens from seven Muslim-majority countries as well as all refugees from entering the United States.

"We are deeply concerned, both specifically for our players who may be impacted, and more broadly for all people who will suffer as a result of the travel ban implemented on Friday," MLSPU executive director Bob Foose said in a statement.
