The Belgium and Everton forward lost around a stone ahead of the new season after his new boss banned his favorite dish.

The life of a top-level footballer is one of constant sacrifices, and Everton forward Kevin Mirallas found out the hard way after being forced to give up his favorite meal.
The Belgium international was asked by new boss Ronald Koeman to shed some weight ahead of the Premier League season, and that meant making some significant changes to his diet, including sacrificing his Italian wife’s homemade pasta.
“Now there’s no more of my wife’s pasta, just vegetables and fish,” admitted Mirallas, who has found a new lease of life after struggling to nail down a regular starting role for the Toffees last season.
