Two Mexico internationals did their best to keep FC Porto in the fight of Group G of the Champions League, with Miguel Layun scoring a goal and Jesus “Tecatito” Corona earning a late penalty in their 2-1 comeback win over Club Brugge.
The Belgian side didn’t take long to make an impact and took a shock lead in the 12th minute through Jelle Vossen.
But Miguel Layun, who joined Hector Herrera in the staring lineup, scored the equalizer in the 68th minute with a superb right-footed strike. His goal was set up perfectly by an Otavio breakaway and was his second career goal in the Champions League.
