Miguel Herrera out, Eduardo Coudet in as Xolos manager

Ending a month or better or speculation, Club Tijuana announced Eduardo “Chacho” Coudet as the club’s new manager. The 42 year old Argentine last coached Rosario Central in Argentina’s Primera Division in 2016, where he lead Central to an appearance in the 2016 Copa Libertadores. According to a Xolos’ press release, “Coudet brings a coaching staff that includes Ernesto Pablo Colman as the fitness coach, Damian Gonzalo Facciuto and Diego Oscar Monarriz as his assistants.”

Coudet replaces Miguel Herrera, who was with Tijuana since 2015. Herrera moves back to Club America, where he managed from 2011 until he took over El Tri in 2013.
