Miguel Herrera in no hurry to extend Tijuana contract

The former Mexico and Club America coach is happy in Tijuana but won't rush to sign a new contract when his current deal expires in the winter.

Tijuana coach Miguel Herrera says he is flattered by love from fans of other clubs, and, while he has no plans to leave at the moment, he also is in no hurry to extend his stay.

Herrera saw Tijuana to a 1-0 victory over Club America in the Copa MX round of 16 on Wednesday, with Xolos moving on to the next round thanks to a 28th-minute goal from American Paul Arriola.
