We are less than two weeks away from the start of the 2019 Gold Cup. On Wednesday, Mexico play their penultimate friendly ahead of the start of the competition when they take on Venezuela at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
For coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino, this will be only his third game in charge of the Mexico National Team and his first since the month of March when El Tri beat both Chile and Paraguay.
Martino has a difficult task ahead as injuries and major absences have been a constant theme for El Tri across the last few weeks.
