With the objetive of finishing the CONCACAF Hexagonal undefeated and in first place, Mexico will have a change of scenery when they play host to Trinidad and Tobago at the Estadio Alfonso Lastras in San Luis.
For Mexico, four points from their final two matches would be enough to clinch first place of the Hexagonal, something El Tri have not done since the 1998 World Cup process.
This match also has the distinction of being the first qualifier played outside the Estadio Azteca in the Juan Carlos Osorio era. The venue will be San Luis’s Alfonso Lastras, where Mexico last played a World Cup qualifying match in the qualifiers towards Germany 2006.
