Marlins Park will play hosts to Mexico's first game of 2016. After a largely successful 2015, El Tri resume activity for another year as Juan Carlos Osorio's side take on Senegal.
Given the circumstances of the game, it's at least tempting to see Mexico's young prospects in a more tranquil light. It is disappointing to see a Mexico team without their best stars, but to be fair, there is plenty to keep an eye out for with guys like Hirving Lozano and Erick Gutierrez making their first appearance with the senior national team.
The realistic expectation is Mexico will have an easy time against this Senegal team, but El Tri do face some hostilities against physically tougher opponents.
