A second half goal from Oribe Peralta saw Mexico beat Panama 1-0 in their final preparation game ahead of the start of the CONCACAF Hexagonal.
From the start, Mexico struggled to find space to create chances, but should have taken the lead, with Giovani dos Santos spurning a clear chance and forcing Panama goalkeeper Jose Calderon to a good save.
The game improved after the break, and El Tri took the lead in the 59th minute. Hirving Lozano escaped his marker and picked out Giovani dos Santos, who sent a perfect cross for Oribe Peralta to fire home.
