Mexico unveils 25-man roster ahead of CONCACAF Nations League debut

The list contains mostly a base of youngsters, including Club León striker Jose Juan Macias, Club América midfielder Sebastian Cordova and Necaxa defender Cristian Calderon. But it also includes some familiar faces like Rodolfo Pizarro, Nestor Araujo and Carlos Salcedo.

In total, there are six players on the squad that participated in last summer’s Gold Cup.

Mexico’s squad announcement comes days after Mexico defeated Trinidad and Tobago 2-0 in a game in which coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino experimented with a lot of his Under-23 players.
