The Mexico U-23 national team split its two-game series with Denmark, which was played through the course of the last week in the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) in Mexico City. On Wednesday, in what was coach Jaime Lozano’s debut at the helm of the team, they fell 1-0 against the Danish side. On Saturday, they played their second and final game and came out victorious with a score of 2-1. The team consisted with a large list of callups which made it possible for many players to have action with the team and then with their clubs on the weekend.
