Mexico struggled but were able to get a 2-2 tie against Nicaragua that gave Mexico the Group C title and the ticket to the 2025 U17 World Cup. A last minute goal ended Mexico’s bid for 100% in points but an overly superior goal differential was enough for Mexico to win Group C and grab the only ticket the group gave to the 2025 U17 World Cup. It was an unfair result as Mexico was overly superior but once again a lot of misses and a great performance from the opposition’s keeper frustrated Mexico but this time it was couple with the home side’s defensive mistake that cost them the first and only goals given up by Mexico.
