Mexico qualified to the final in the 2024 U-20 Championship after defeating Cuba by a 2-0 score. They completely dominated even with an alternate squad after making their debut in the venue of Leon. Mexico will now face the United States in the final, as they seek to end their streak of consecutive titles in the CONCACAF U2-0 tournament.
The first half started with Mexico making a number of changes from the starting 11 that played against Costa Rica. Three minutes into the match, Amaury Morales would make a good run and then get off a cross into the area where Mateo Levy volley the ball past Cuba’s goalkeeper Yurdy Hodelin, to score and place the scoreboard at 1-0.
