Mexico start summer campaign with win over Bolivia

With a mostly U-23 squad, Mexico started their summer campaign with a 1-0 win against Bolivia. Mexico was the slightly better team and got a deserved result with a squad that will almost be the one playing in the 2024 Maurice Revello tournament. Both teams will be participating in the 2024 Copa America as Mexico will play against Uruguay on Wednesday while Bolivia plays against Ecuador on June 12th.

The 1st half started with Mexico coming out with an almost all U23 squad except for goalkeeper Julio Gonzalez and defender Alexis Peña. Bolivia didn’t have their better squad but had key players like veteran goalkeeper Carlos Lampe.
