Mexico started their participation in the 2024 CONCACAF U-20 Championship that they are hosting by dominating Haiti in route to a 4-0 win. Mexico dominated the match completely although they had some trouble in the final third against a Haitian side that was spirited but technically inferior. The win climbed Mexico to the top of Group C by goal differential and will now face Guatemala, who need to bounce back after their 3-0 loss in their opener against Panama.
