Mexico releases new call-up as they continue to prepare for the U-20 World Cup

Mexico’s U-20 squad will continue their preparations for the U-20 World Cup with a new training camp now that they know their rivals and who they will face. With several Liga MX players getting playing time, like Pumas’ Idekel Dominguez and Chivas´Gilberto Sepulveda, the team coached by Diego Ramirez are setting their eyes on their World Cup opener against Italy on May 23. The training camp started on Sunday March 3 and will end on Wednesday 6th. The players called were the following:

Goalkeepers: Angel Alonzo (Necaxa), Carlos Higuera (Tijuana), Luis Lopez (Dorados)

Defenders: Efrain Orona (Pachuca), Oswaldo Leon (America), Gilberto Sepulveda (Chivas), Arturo Cardenas (Queretaro), Idekel Dominguez (Pumas), Haret Ortega (America), Mario Trejo (Morelia), Luis Martinez (Tijuana)

Midfielders: Brian Figueroa (Pumas), Misael Dominguez (Cruz Azul), Daniel Lajud (Queretaro), Diego Hernandez (Chivas), Adrian Lozano (Santos), Roberto Meraz (Morelia), Alexis Gutierrez (Cruz Azul), Jose Plascencia (Necaxa), Alan Torres (Chivas), Francisco Figueroa (Pachuca) Carlos Gutierrez (Pumas)
