México releases call ups for friendly against Argentina

Mónica Vergara has called up the 25 players that will represent México in their October 23 friendly against Argentina. It is a good mix of stalwarts like Emily Alvarado, Kenti Robles, and Alison González along with some new faces, including the first call up for Santos Laguna attacking midfielder Cinthya Peraza and Valeria Miranda from Querétaro. While there’s still a decent balance between Liga MX Femenil and foreign-based pro players, there are only two players from the NCAA system, Alexia Delgado from Arizona State and Maricarmen Reyes from UCLA.
