Edson Alvarez leads the way in Marco Antonio “Chima” Ruiz’s list of call ups for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship that was released on Thursday.. The team will consist of mostly players who were part of the 2015 U-17 team that ended fourth in the World Cup in Chile.
Edson Alvarez, who just made his debut with the senior national team in this week’s game against Iceland, is probably the biggest name and the most experienced as he has already played (and scored) in a Liga MX final with America. Surprisingly he missed out of the U-17 World Cup.
