The Mexican Federation has snubbed a lot of their Mexico National Team regulars and is looking to the future. On Wednesday, the FMF announced their 25-man squad for the upcoming friendlies against Uruguay and the United States.

The roster consists of several uncapped players, including youngsters Diego Lainez, Roberto Alvarado, and Jesus Angulo. It also features six European-based players, most notably highlighting the return of Nestor Araujo to the Mexico National Team following an injury that kept him out of the 2018 World Cup.
