While Mexico had looked to have missed their ticket to the 2019 Pan American games, Mexico was a surprise invitee after the United States declined to go in both the Men and Women categories. For the men’s tournament Mexico got drawn in Group A along with Panama, Argentina and Ecuador. Meanwhile, in the women’s tournament they also got drawn in Group A along with Paraguay, Jamaica and Colombia.
Mexico announced that they will go with the U-22 Mens team to the Pan American games, the big tournament for that age group during the summer.
