Defending Gold Cup champions Mexico have been drawn in Group A for the 2025 Gold Cup tournament. Mexico will share the group along with Costa Rica, Suriname and debutantes Dominican Republic. Mexico will play the opening match of the tournament against the Dominican Republic on June 14th before traveling to Dallas to face off against Suriname on June 18th and closing out against Costa Rica in Las Vegas on June 22nd.
Mexico will return to CONCACAF action in the site where they won the 2023 Gold Cup final against Panama. It’s also the site where Mexico won the 2024-2025 CONCACAF Nations League this past month after defeating Panama again and winning their first ever Nations League title.
