The path to the 2023 Women’s World Cup has been set in motion for México, as the Concacaf W Qualifiers drew their pots today. The top two teams in the confederation were automatically given passage into the W Championship, and the winners of each group will then join the two automatic qualifiers. The matches will take place during FIFA windows starting in November 2021 and concluding in April 2022.
México was pre-seeded in Group A as the team with the best FIFA ranking. From the draw, they will face off against Puerto Rico, Suriname, Antigua and Barbuda, and Anguilla.
