Mexico was able to defeat Canada 2-0 thanks to a brace from Raul Jimenez. Just a year ago Jimenez was all but ruled out of the national team and then he regained his form to help Mexico make the final. There were times when Canada was the better team of the two, but the Mexican defense held on tight and at times were lucky Canada was unable to finish their chances. Now Mexico will prepare to face off against Panama on Sunday for the Nations League trophy.
The game got off to a bang after Mexico opened the score within 50 seconds.
