Mexico have announced two friendlies for their U-20 team to be played in the March FIFA break as they prepare to play in the 2024 U-20 CONCACAF Championship which will be played in Mexico in the summer. Mexico will face off against Honduras on March 21st and then will play Costa Rica on March 25th. They’ll continue the preparation under manager Eduardo Arce after winning the Torneo del Sol earlier in the year.

Midfielders: Yael Padilla (Chivas), Andres Heredia (Stromsgodset), Elias Montiel (Pachuca), Jonantan Villal (Atletico San Luis), Amaury Morales (Cruz Azul), Diego Sanchez (Tigres), Brandon Tellez (Chivas), Jesus Serrato (Atlas)
Forwards: Alex Alcala (Manchester City), Thiago Gigena (Newell’s Old Boys), Mauricio Medrano (Sporting de Gijon), Matheus Reis (Fluminense), Alexei Dominguez (Pachuca)
After the call-up list came out, it was announced that Reis will miss the matches because of injury and Mateo Levy (Cruz Azul) will take his place.
