As Mexico announced their U-20 World Cup squad, they also announced their final friendlies ahead of the start of the tournament, which will consist of three friendlies in two countries. Mexico will first travel to Austria on May 5th, where they will play against Saudi Arabia and Colombia. On May 16th, the young El Tri side will finally arrive in Poland where they will close out their campaign with a friendly against New Zealand.
Mexico’s preparation for the U-20 World Cup actually started this week and will continue until next week with training in the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) and with two friendlies against local teams.
