The Argentine has been immortalized in Madame Tussauds after a painstaking four months of work.
A waxwork of Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been unvelied in Madame Tussauds in New York.
The work depicts the Argentina international in action for his country during the World Cup finals in Brazil last summer.
The wax sculpture took four months to complete and more than 250 measurements were taken, using both photo and video references, in order to create best likeness possible.
The waxwork will be placed in a special sporting section of the gallery, where visitors can try to replicate their favorite stars' trademark style in a virtual arena.
