Messi toasts Champions League century... but promises there's more to come

The Barcelona star has hinted that there is more magic to come after he celebrated 100 games in the elite competition with Wednesday's 1-1 group stage draw at Roma.

Lionel Messi has promised Barcelona fans "more magic" after making his 100th Champions League appearance in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Roma.

Champions League holder Barca opened its 2015-16 account in the competition with a point in the Italian capital, with Alessandro Florenzi's wonder goal from the halfway line cancelling out Luis Suarez's opener.

Messi went close late on after hitting the crossbar for Luis Enrique's side, but the 28-year forward - who becomes the youngest player to reach a century of Champions League games - says he is still hungry for more success.
